Ferdinand von Zeppelin conceived rigid airship design in the late 19th century. When they began to be built at the beginning of the 20th century, his name was applied as a general term for these vehicles. The company Deutsche Luftschiffahrts-AG (German airship travel) flew the first commercial Zeppelins in 1910. As WW I approached Zeppelins were built for military reconnaissance and bombing missions use as well. Zeppelin LZ 14 was built for the Imperial German Navy and given the navy designation L-1. First flown late in 1912 it was lost in a storm over the North Sea the following September.
The L-1 Zeppelin 3D model, provided as the historical navy version and an imaginary passenger version, is a fully-rigged Poser figure, sized for Poser people. Although designed for Poser, it is compatible with DAZ Studio (see ReadMe).
