Rusting Painted Metal made in Substance Designer. Rendered at 2k in Marmoset Toolbag 3.
A lot of custom parameters in this one with multiple controls to change each part of the material (age, rust, rust drips, splitting, edging, discoloration, paint, dirt etc.) This material was great fun to make, as I had always wanted to tackle a rusting metal. I wanted to capture the paint bubbling, then starting to crack and splitting to reveal the rust beneath and peeling up at the edges.
