Iray Infinity Portals are slim, circular meshes that use a combination of refractive glass and mirrors to give the illusion of depth, even when they are sat flush against a surface. Instead of having to cut holes into your geometry, you can simply place and infinity portal on the surface, and fake the effect. The portals can be modified with morphs to shift the lenses and move the attached smoke effects to get the desired result. The portals are are quite light sensitive, and work better in slightly darker environments. So long as they are not being blasted with light, they should work well in most environments. A suite of particles, VDBs and 2D portal cards have been included to help your customize your portals.
