For Genesis 8. make sure you turn Limits off before using the poses
How to set Limits off: Load your figure -> make sure you are in the "Pose & Animate" window -> select the hip ->
go to the upper menu "Edit-Figure-Limits-Limits Off" -> now apply one of the poses.
