Predatron Barrel Cactus and Brittlebush Plants

Barrel Cacti are a group of species belonging to the genera Echinocactus and Ferocactus, native to the deserts of the Southwestern United States and extending into north-central Mexico. Some of the largest examples grow in the Sonoran Desert. Certain species can exceed 1 metre (3.3 ft) in height when mature, with some individuals reaching up to 3 metres (9.8 ft) in specific areas. Barrel cacti are known to live for over 100 years.
Brittlebush, or Encelia farinosa—also known as brittlebrush or incienso—is a common desert shrub found throughout the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. It has a long history of varied uses. Typically growing between 30 and 150 centimeters (12 to 59 inches) tall, the plant becomes drought deciduous during dry spells, dropping its leaves and surviving on water stored in its thick stems. The Spanish name incienso comes from early Spanish missions in the New World, where its dried sap was burned as incense.
